Anders Berggren, current Executive within Electrolux, has been appointed President
of Electrolux Construction Products North America
OLATHE, Kan. - In the rapid growth over the last few years,
Electrolux Construction Products will have a new President
as of January 1, 2004. Anders Berggren, current Executive
within Electrolux, has been appointed President of
Electrolux Construction Products North America headquartered
in Olathe, Kansas.
Electrolux Construction Products has strengthened its
leading position with the acquisition of Diamant Boart,
the market leader in diamond tools and related equipment
for the construction and stone industry. The acquisition
of Diamant Boart has created a complete business line that
includes the brands of Diamant Boart, Target, Dimas, Partner
and Felker. "This is an excellent opportunity for
both Electrolux and myself to make an impact on this interesting
and expansive business" said Berggren.
Anders Berggren will replace Lennart Gustafsson who will
semi-retire in April 2004. Lennart was President of Partner
Industrial Products before being named President of Electrolux
Construction Products North America in 2002. He has been
in the industry for over 20 years.
Anders has worked for the Professional Outdoor Products
sector since 1995. He moved to the United States in 1997
to serve as International Sales Director of Consumer Outdoor
Products North America. Since 1999, he has built up the
Turf Care business within the Professional Outdoor Products
sector as President for Husqvarna Turf Care. Mr. Berggren
and his family will relocate to the Olathe, Kansas area.
