Felker Announces the Next Generation in Tile Saws

The Tile Master Plus and the Tile Master XL Plus

Felker recently launched the next generation of their Tile Master saws. The new Tile Master Plus and Tile Master XL Plus saws feature several new additions sure to make tile cutting easier for any operator.

The new models' cutting capacity is the most noticeable enhancement. The Tile Master Plus will cut 16” diagonally, up from 13” previously, while the Tile Master XL Plus will cut 22” diagonally, up from 18” previously. The Tile Master Plus will now rip cut a 24” tile and the Tile Master XL Plus has a rip cut of 31”. Both are the largest cutting capacities in their respective class.

The new, galvanized pan on the Tile Master XL Plus will resist rusting while the new bladeshaft lock on both versions will make blade removal easier. The conveyor cart is 50% larger to better support bigger tile and comes with a standard extension in the Tile Master XL Plus version. Both saws have the ability to make spring-assisted plunge cuts and feature a cam adjustment to aid in belt tensioning.

The 1-1/2 horsepower Baldor continuous-duty motor is totally enclosed, fan cooled and designed exclusively for Felker. It is available as a single voltage in the Tile Master Plus or as a single or dual voltage in the Tile Master XL Plus. Able to run on most standard 115V outlets, the motors are UL and CSA approved and backed by the manufacturer’s limited, one-year warranty.

Some features remain unchanged in the new version of the saws. They still feature premium, six-groove poly V-belts that are totally enclosed by the guard for operator safety and protection of components. These belts are smoother running with less vibration, reducing belt slippage and transmitting more power to the shaft.

The saw is shown [in the picture on the CD] with the new optional stand, which is patent pending and adjusts in height from 29” to 34”. It breaks down with a spring assist to roll to and from the jobsite. An optional extra set of wheels allows the saw to be rolled more easily into a truck or van.
